Continuing a legacy of excellence

As part of Johnson & Johnson Vision, it’s our responsibility to live up to the principles that guide us. It’s why we’re committed to making quality vision care affordable and why we never stop looking for innovative ways to help people around the world see better. Today, Johnson & Johnson Vision works to improve sight for more than 44 million people each year.

Always seeking to elevate the standard of care

Innovation inspired by you

Ever since ACUVUE® transformed vision correction in 1988 with the world’s first soft disposable contact lenses, we’ve passionately pursued new technologies and the highest quality standards. We've never slowed in our search for new materials, new formulations and fresh ways to bring people clearer vision, more comfort, and healthier eyes.

Today, millions of people enjoy new levels of vision, comfort, freedom and performance with our patented, advanced- comfort technologies. For people with astigmatism who haven’t been able to wear contact lenses comfortably, there’s our innovative EYELID STABILISED® Design that has four stabilisation zones to help keep the lens in place. And there’s PUPIL OPTIMISED Design Technology, designed to help those with presbyopia see near, far and in between.

Collaboration with eye care professionals

Another way we strive to better vision care around Australia is by being a professional resource for eye care professionals via JNJVISIONPRO.

JNJVISIONPRO is an education platform designed exclusively for eye care professionals. It serves as a virtual partner, granting instant access to product information, contact lens fitting guides, calculators and patient resources to support eye care practice.

Business practices mindful of the planet

Our purpose is to improve the health and well-being of people everywhere. To fulfill this goal, we must protect the environments in which we work and live. We have long recognised the critical interdependence between human health and the health of our planet. We understand that environmental degradation threatens human health, and that we have a responsibility to protect the environment.

To help us reduce our environmental footprint, globally we established Healthy Planet goals in the areas of energy use, water use, paper and packaging, waste reduction, product stewardship, biodiversity, and others. In developing these goals, we sought counsel from many stakeholders, including government officials, environmental groups, other companies and academic thought leaders. We are confident that our Healthy Planet goals will help safeguard the health of our planet.

Important information for contact lens wearers: ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction. An Eye Care Professional will determine whether contact lenses are right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing contact lenses. To help avoid these problems, follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your optometrist. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems. If one of these conditions occurs, contact your optometrist immediately. For more information on proper wear, care and safety, talk to your optometrist and ask for a Patient Instruction Guide or call the ACUVUE® Support Team on 0800 466 173.
